Q:How do I create a new folding sequence?
A:
You can use the 'Configuration Mode' in the software to manually move the panels into position and record each step. See the 'Folding Sequences' guide for detailed instructions.
Q:Can I control the robot from my phone?
A:
Yes! Since the Pico 2W has Wi-Fi, you can host a simple web server on it and trigger folding sequences from any device on your local network.
Q:Does it need regular maintenance?
A:
Very little. Periodically check that the screws on the servo horns are tight and ensure the hinges move smoothly. If you hear squeaking, a tiny drop of dry lubricant on the hinges can help.
Q:Is it safe to use around children?
A:
The servos have enough torque to pinch fingers. We recommend adult supervision when the robot is in operation and keeping it out of reach of small children and pets.
